Biography
Amy Bach has dedicated her career to promoting and defending the interests and rights of insurance policyholders in judicial, legislative, regulatory and media forums. The recipient of numerous awards including Money magazine’s “Money Hero” and “Person of the Year” (National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters), Bach has built United Policyholders into a powerful national force that influences outcomes in favor of insureds by leveraging a network of expert volunteers dedicated to a common goal. Bach currently serves on the Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance, the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Response and is an official consumer representative in the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
