Thomas J. Dickerson

Thomas J. Dickerson is a personal injury attorney at the Dickerson Oxton Law Firm (www.dickersonoxton.com) and of counsel at Trial Lawyers for Justice (www.tl4j.com). Tom started doing legal work when he was only 19 years old, working for a law firm that defended financial institutions. He started the Dickerson Oxton Law Firm directly out of law school with his wife Chelsea Oxton Dickerson, and is dedicated to representing everyday people in personal injury and mass tort cases. Tom has tried a significant number of jury trials and has been known for his high verdicts on what most folks would think are run of the mill injuries or damage capped cases in conservative jurisdictions. Tom is a member of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, serves on the board of editors for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Journal, and leads a special committee in the state of Kansas on wrongful death damages caps. Tom is a frequent speaker at national trial lawyers’ conventions, and has presented and taught at Trial Lawyers University, TBI MedLegal, Law-Di-Gras, and Dordick Trial College, among others. Tom regularly speaks on spine / brain injury cases, insurance bad faith and opening insurance policies, and damage models in wrongful death cases. Tom is a Super Lawyer, been named Best of the Bar in Kansas City, and is a member of AAJ and the International Society of Barristers.
