Biography

Rick Willis is the president and CEO of the Brain Injury Association of America. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit space. Prior to joining BIAA, Willis served as the Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Revenue Strategy with the Arthritis Foundation. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Willis began his nonprofit career in 1997 at the Muscular Dystrophy Association and went on to hold leadership roles at the American Diabetes Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Melbourne, Australia-based Cancer Council Victoria. “I’m inspired by the passion of our community and the ever brighter future we can create together for those whose lives have been impacted brain injury” Willis said in regard to his new position.
