Biography

Maureen is a trial lawyer specializing in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Maureen began her law career as a medical malpractice defense lawyer who represented medical providers and hospitals. Her love for both the law and medicine made it a good fit, but eventually she came to feel that her work defending corporate interests was causing more harm than good. Unwilling to be a cog in the corporate machine, Maureen quit civil defense work altogether. While exploring career paths outside of the law, Maureen met her current law partners, Brian J. Kim and Adam Savin, who convinced her to return to law practice, this time to represent personal injury victims and their families. She did so on one condition: that she never have to take on a case that she didn't believe in 100%.

Since joining Brian and Adam, Maureen has not looked back. In just a few short years, she obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for her clients. Her first two jury trials were tried back-to-back in a one-month period, and resulted in two outlier verdicts: the first, a $613,000 jury verdict in a minimal property damage, single epidural case (two-year gap in treatment), tried with partner Adam Savin, followed by an $18.79M jury verdict on a slip and fall / spinal cord stimulator case, tried with partner Brian J. Kim; Maureen picked both juries. Maureen’s practice is based in Los Angeles; she is also licensed in Washington State, and she litigates and tries cases throughout the country.
